Daniel Glazer leads the US Expansion group and the London office at Silicon Valley-headquartered Wilson Sonsini, which has represented more tech companies on their venture financings, M&A transactions, and IPOs than any other law firm globally. The firm’s London-based team of US and dual US/UK-qualified tech lawyers supports UK/EU startups through their US life cycle – US launch and scaling, US fundraising, US partnerships, and US M&A/IPO exit - and facilitates access to the firm’s global network of capital providers, corporates, and advisors.

Barry O’Brien is the head of Global Passport, part of the Innovation Economy team in Commercial Banking at J.P. Morgan. Barry and the Global Passport team provide a suite of solutions, services and strategic advice to venture firms, VC-backed startups and growth-stage companies expanding into the United States and international markets from innovation centers around the world.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Barry spent a decade with SVB, most recently as the Head of Strategic Investment at SVB Capital. He also managed SVB’s relationships with the venture capital divisions of Fortune 500 companies, and was instrumental in setting up the company’s Dublin office.

Before joining SVB, Barry was an Officer in the Irish Foreign Service and was posted as Consul to the United States. He began his career at BearingPoint and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Barry holds bachelor’s and MBS degrees from University College Dublin and a Global Executive MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He is from Dublin, Ireland and c
