Once you apply on our Careers page, your application will be reviewed by the hiring team. At Remote, we focus on competency-based hiring and don’t use years of experience or formal degrees to determine someone’s fit for a role. We want to make sure everybody who is interested has equal opportunity, and prefer to screen applications in an unbiased environment. To support this, all applications go through the same review process.
Here are a few tips we recommend at Remote if you want to excel with your application:
Convert your resume to .pdf and upload in this format.
Make sure to send us your CV in English.
Read the handbook and reference it in your application materials.
Take time to answer our application questions. We do put a lot of attention to your answers.

Yes, after your first six months of employment, you're eligible to work from abroad for up to 90 calendar days per year, provided you avoid prohibited jurisdictions. These policies support flexibility while maintaining legal compliance and setting you up for success. A minimum two-year tenure with the company is required for eligibility for long term relocations.
If you’re authorized to work in your current location, Remote will either hire you under our local entity or, if one doesn't yet exist, under our U.S. Contractor entity. You’ll be converted to a full employee once a local entity becomes available. We must always comply with local employment laws, so eligibility is essential.
