Why choose Remote’s EOR service?

  • We own the entities, not middlemen

Remote directly employs your hire through our own local entity in their country. There’s no third company in the middle.

  • Uncapped indemnity for employment services

Uncapped indemnity for Employment Services covers claims that arise from Remote’s failure to meet its obligations or warranties.

  • Local teams supporting yours

Your team is backed by Remote employees in-market, not a partner network. Our in-country specialists average over 10 years' local experience.

  • Transparent, predictable pricing

One fee per employee, with no hidden fees and no markup on local costs. Customers save $74,000 on average compared with setting up their own entity.

Rated #1 global employment platform

Businesses hiring overseas for the first time turn to Remote to make it happen.

Our former EOR had outsourced the payroll work in that country to the cheapest provider they could find, and the service was dreadful. Shifting people from the old EOR across to Remote was effortless. Because Remote operates entities in each country, you genuinely are part of Remote — not an unfamiliar third party.

Remote gives us access to country‑specific legal advisers and tax teams through a single point of contact. I don't have to pay exorbitant fees or manage these matters myself. It makes everything much simpler and more efficient.

Sophie BrügmannHead of operations, Lessmore

We're outsourcing what matters most to us: the communication, the guidance and the care of our people. That's crucial, so you need to place a lot of trust in your partner. If anything goes wrong, our colleagues don't see it as a relationship with Remote — they see it as a relationship with us. Our partnership with Remote is a genuine collaboration.

Remote broadens our options so we can remove location as a barrier and make the best hiring decisions for the business.

Employer of Record FAQs

An Employer of Record, or EOR, is a firm that legally hires people for you in a country where you don’t have an entity. Remote holds the employment contract, operates payroll, withholds taxes, and administers benefits in accordance with that country’s law. You remain responsible for directing the work, setting pay and managing the person day to day, just as you would with any other member of your team.
