You invoice your client as usual. The only change is that you upload the invoice to Remote. The client approves the invoices and sends payment to us, and we then transfer payments straight to your bank account.
Yes. You can select the currency you wish to be paid in; this depends on the currency of your withdrawal method or the billing currency set for your company on Remote.
You can choose to set your invoice in your local withdrawal currency or in your employer’s billing currency. Based on that choice, Remote will automatically convert the funds received from your employer into your local withdrawal currency. For payments processed via Wise, Remote guarantees you will receive the full invoiced amount in your local currency and shields you from currency fluctuations.
For payments processed via SWIFT (“wire” payments), our payment partners may apply a small charge that will be deducted from your payment ($5–$15 depending on the bank). Additionally, your local bank may levy further fees. Please check with your bank for details. Remote does not charge any additional fees for same-currency payments made through local payment networks.
