We only collect reserve payments in infrequent, high-risk circumstances. This form of financial security enables us to pay employees if a customer cannot meet their obligations. Some other EOR providers require extra deposits for offering annual leave above the legal minimum, waiving probation periods, incentive schemes and monthly redundancy-pay accruals. We do not.
Employees are paid in the currency specified in their employment agreement. If the salary (or any other item on your invoice) differs from your preferred billing currency, we convert this amount using the Remote FX rate.
The Remote FX rate can change over time and varies by currency pair. It reflects the risks of holding assets and liabilities in multiple currencies, the costs Remote incurs, and market benchmarks. The Remote FX rate remains highly competitive compared with other EOR and payroll providers.
Your invoice will display charges in your chosen billing currency. The Remote FX rate applied to each line item will be shown in the invoice breakdown on our platform each month.
You may use Remote to add and invite any number of direct employees, EOR employees and contractors, with no minimums or associated fees. To process payroll for your direct employees, you must use our Global Payroll product. Whether you are hiring employee number 1 or employee number 1,000, we are here to support your growth.
We do not charge platform, onboarding or setup fees for our HR management, EOR or Contractor Management products. You only pay for the product(s) you select, according to your requirements. For customers using our Payroll product, an implementation fee applies to set up your entities. Additionally, a recurring payroll delivery fee covers the infrastructure required to support timely global payouts and secure payroll file delivery. Remote’s pricing is intended to be transparent. In some circumstances additional charges may apply, but only when you request specific services, configurations or value-adds. These fees are always communicated in advance, directly tied to the work being delivered, and do not include hidden mark-ups. You will always know what you are paying for and why.
