Overtime

The standard working hours in North Macedonia are 40 per week and eight hours per day. Night work is paid at 135% of the normal salary. If necessary, overtime hours are permissible to a maximum of eight hours per week. The overtime must be no less than 135% of the normal salary. Work performed on weekends and public holidays is paid at 150% of the normal salary.
