Health Benefits

In Argentina, it is mandatory for employers to provide health insurance to their employees. In Argentina, private health insurance is referred to as “Prepagas.” The expense of a group insurance plan is shared by both employees and employers through social contributions, with employees contributing 3% and employers contributing 6%. This typically covers the costs in most cases and is processed automatically during payroll. However, any additional expenses beyond the total social contributions will be billed accordingly. Employees in Argentina have the option to select these plans during onboarding.
