The position

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal impact in the global employment space joining our Benefits team as Benefits Solutions, Pensions, Senior Specialist.

In your role, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself as an experienced international Benefits Specialist. Check out here in the 85+ countries in which we already operate.

You will report to our Benefits Solutions Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Source, negotiate and implement new private pensions programs, with a special focus on employee experience and Clients costs.
  • Maintain current private pensions programs, evaluating the user experience, value, cost, and competitive trends.
  • Come up with private pension trends and cost estimates, and propose modifications / improvements to the programs Remote already offers
  • Provide customer service support to Clients and Employees, handling escalations and jumping on calls
  • Work closely and effectively with Product, Engineering, Automation, Payroll, International Operations, Legal, Sales, and Customer Success Remote teams to ensure scalability and success of private pension programs
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable government regulations.
  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Be able to go from “scout to scale” and actually start things up and get things done.
  • Be an internal and external champion of Remote's values and Benefits team's goals.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in private pensions, sourcing, designing and negotiating high quality pension programs
  • You possess top-notch project management skills to accomplish goals, drive reporting, due date adherence, and process iteration to ensure better quality of processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs.
  • Ability to understand, evaluate and make judgment on proposals (RFPs).
  • Knowledge of private pension contract language.
  • You are a manager of one
  • Writes and speaks fluent English
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus
  • It's not required to speak multiple languages, but considered a plus

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is between $38,550 USD to $86,750 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
