What this job can offer you

This is an exciting time to make a positive impact in the global employment space as a Manager, Onboarding Operations - EMEA, joining our Onboarding team.

In this role, you’ll manage a high volume, high impact, regional Onboarding Operations team, that is customer-facing and directly responsible for the onboarding of our Clients’ employees. To be successful in this role you must be a driven people-leader and have extensive experience in scaling operations while achieving high quality.

You will be reporting to Senior Manager, Onboarding Operations.

What you bring

  • Significant people management experience, leading high-volume operational teams OR demonstrated experience and achievement in a current IC4 role at Remote, combined with some team leadership experience.
  • Strong alignment to our CITIE values - specifically those of Care and Intensity. Demonstrated alignment to competencies within your existing department, and demonstrated ability drive improvement within your team.
  • Calm under pressure and able to hold difficult conversations.
  • Demonstrated experience positively collaborating with peers in other Remote departments.
  • Experience leading, or deeply contributing to, a variety of departmental operational projects that provide positive impact to the business.
  • Decision-maker. Uses data to drive decision making and escalates where appropriate.
  • Team orientated and able to take direction and feedback from management. Has the capacity to build and inspire trust with other Remoters, empowering them to do their best work.
  • Pragmatic and flexible approach to challenges, able to iterate and think strategically.
  • Basic understanding of emotional intelligence and how it can be applied in the workplace to foster high-performing teams in emotionally safe environments.
  • Demonstrated engagement with WorkRamp materials and departmental training.
  • Able to spend at least 70% of work day in Central EMEA time zone.
  • Writes and speaks fluent English, with strong communication skills

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the leadership of a team of EMEA Onboarding Operations Specialists (direct line management).
  • Responsible and accountable for the performance of the EMEA Onboarding Operations Specialists reporting into you, ensuring the highest quality standards, performance expectations, values alignment and competencies are met within our high performance culture
  • People management: Motivate your team, hold difficult conversations, resolve conflicts, conduct performance reviews, provide input into discussions around individual performance.
  • Act as escalation point for Onboarding challenges arising within EMEA, working cross functionally to ensure solutions are found and improvements implemented. Escalate to leadership where required.
  • Work collaboratively with Managers within your region, and across others, to instigate and push forward operational change projects.
  • Utilize data to drive decision making and to track your team’s performance. Produce regular reports for Onboarding Operations EMEA leadership, along with recommendations for alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to our processes, and the customer experience, working collaboratively across teams.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $46,300 to $104,150. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

At Remote, we foster internal mobility as a key element of our culture of employee growth and development, supported by a compensation philosophy that guarantees pay equity and fairness. Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case by case basis.
