What you bring

  • A clear vision for the implementation and optimization of SaaS tools to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • Commitment to embodying and advocating Remote’s values in all interactions
  • Proficiency in SaaS architecture and integration, with experience in platforms such as Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and Okta.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS budgeting and cost management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the Finance department and other stakeholders.
  • Background in IT administration and IT support, with the ability to get technical as needed.
  • Understanding of APIs and experience with integrating solutions via no/low-code platforms (i.e. Okta Workflows, Pipedream, Zapier, etc.)
  • Effective communication and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Writes and speaks fluent English.
  • Experience with remote work environments is not required but considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design scalable, secure, and efficient SaaS solutions to meet the company’s evolving needs.
  • Oversee the entire SaaS catalog, ensuring a thorough understanding of each tool, its purpose, functionality, and integrations.
  • Manage the acquisition, integration, and optimization of SaaS platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop long-term strategies for SaaS tools to support business growth and technological advancements.
  • Conduct regular audits and optimizations of the SaaS portfolio to enhance security, permissions, automation, scalability, and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance of all SaaS applications with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on SaaS solutions, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to analyze and manage SaaS costs, optimizing the budget and identifying potential savings.

At first glance, our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote, we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is between $41,300 - $92,900 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
