The position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our Analytics Engineering team. This person will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring a group of 2-5  analytics engineers, ensuring the delivery of  of robust, high-quality data models and analytical solutions

What you bring

  • Strong experience with analytics engineering tooling including SQL, dbt, data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake) and BI tools (e.g. Looker, Metabase) 
  • Experience leading a team of 2+ engineers, with a background as an analytics engineer or in a similar technical role.
  • Demonstrated experience in data modeling, managing data quality, and ensuring efficient data pipeline practices
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Inspires others, instills confidence, and good comprehension of team dynamics, coaching and mentoring
  • Great communication, project management skills and ability to lead technical discussions
  • Strong ability to work independently and self-guided, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop
  • Writes and speaks fluent English

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce.  We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $54,000 to $142,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case by case basis.
