Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage a staff of 6-8 FTE
  • Manage team through budget/business plans with oversight responsibility to department objectives.
  • Provide operating procedure development, including staff training on procedures, processes and tools, utilise to achieve organisational goals.
  • Solicit payments via ACH, credit card, bank wire and/or checks over the phone.
  • Establish and implement a balance commission structure for collection staff ensuring optimal performance in revenue collect and delinquency rate of portfolio.
  • Credit and collection duties to maintain appropriate collection levels.
  • Total alignment with the CSM and Finance team to achieve common goals
  • Handle collection work out accounts which are deemed higher risk including those leading to law suits and all bankruptcy filings.
  • Train newly hire customer collections specialists to ensure compliance.
  • Monitoring and managing delinquent accounts and notifying all relevant parties
  • Coordinating payments closely with the accounts receivable (AR) department
  • Working to ensure that payments are sent, received and processed on time
  • Supporting reporting requirements of the billing or credit department
  • Managing, mentoring and supervising other members of the collection team, if applicable

At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce.  We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $35.500 to $79.900. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
