Each year we release an updated edition that highlights the top 150 remote influencers. Whether you are new to remote work, curious, or have been working remotely for many years, this report showcases today's foremost thought leaders in the remote working sphere. To make it as practical as possible, we include resources these individuals helped create, links to their social profiles, and icons that show whether they are speakers or published authors. We hope it sparks fresh ideas, uncovers opportunities, and keeps your curiosity alive!
This report highlights remarkable leaders who provide genuinely transformative insights for anyone seeking the highest calibre of remote work leadership. We break the report into three types of influencers: Remote Innovators, Enablers, and Accelerators.
These influencers sustain the momentum of remote work; following them will help you shape a more connected and improved remote-working future.

At the heart of this report are individuals committed to redefining the workplace. We examined how they have advanced the shift towards more flexible working and how they continue to drive that change. Several have founded companies that are vital to an effective remote-work ecosystem, offering tools or training. Others focus their efforts on championing a remote-first world, promoting it across every available communication channel.
Those featured in our report display a deep passion for remote work. Each is doing the groundwork to inspire and support others, continually learning and refining approaches while sharing practical methods and tools to empower peers.

Each year we begin by reviewing our earlier Remote Influencer Reports to identify which previously listed influencers continue to have a significant impact on remote work. We also consider nominations of remote-work advocates submitted by our global community throughout the year.
We then compile a list of 225 influencers, applying the following criteria to determine whether an individual qualifies for inclusion:
To finalise the selection, our expert panel of judges reviews the influencers within their respective category (innovators, enablers, or accelerators) and votes based on their experience and professional judgement. This process yields the top 150 individuals leading the remote-work movement, with 50 in each category.
