For your reference, this is our fourth annual Remote Influencer Report — a comprehensive guide to the most inspiring and influential thought leaders shaping the world of remote work. The report includes:
Each year we publish an updated report spotlighting the top 150 remote influencers. Whether you are starting out with remote work, exploring it out of curiosity, or have long worked remotely, this report presents today’s most influential thought leaders in the remote work sphere. To maximise usefulness, we include resources these individuals have helped create, links to their social profiles, and icons that indicate whether they are speakers or published authors. We hope it inspires ideas, reveals opportunities, and keeps you curious.
The report highlights remarkable leaders who provide genuinely transformative insights for anyone seeking the highest-calibre remote work leadership. We divide the list into three influencer types: Remote Innovators, Enablers, and Accelerators.
These influencers sustain the momentum behind remote work, and following them can help you build a better, more connected future for remote working.

Central to this report are individuals committed to transforming the workplace. We examined how they have influenced the shift toward more flexible work arrangements and how they continue to propel that change. Some have founded companies that provide essential tools or training for an effective remote work environment. Others devote their efforts to advocating a remote-first world, using every available channel to promote it.
Those featured in the report are deeply passionate about remote work. Each person is laying the groundwork to inspire and assist others, continually learning and refining their approaches while sharing methods and tools to enable wider adoption of remote work.

Each year we begin by reviewing our earlier Remote Influencer Reports to identify which previously listed influencers still exert significant influence in remote work. We also consider nominations of remote work advocates collected over the year from our global community.
We then assemble an initial list of 225 influencers, applying the following criteria to decide whether an individual qualifies for inclusion:
To finalize the list, we ask our expert panel of judges to review the list of influencers in their respective category (innovators, enablers, or accelerators) and vote based on their experience and knowledge. This results in the top 150 individuals leading the remote work movement with 50 in each category.
